2013 Summer Concert Guide: Steve Martin & Edie Brickell

Take the funniest man to ever play banjo and team him with an idiosyncratic singer/songwriter and you get something pretty interesting, very good even. Martin and Brickell’s recent album, Love Has Come for You, is full of charming songs and spirited performances, and they (along with Martin’s regular band of hotshots, the Steep Canyon Rangers) take the show on the road throughout July, before finishing the summer with a concert at the legendary Hollywood Bowl in August.
