Album Premiere: Iamthemorning, 'Lighthouse'

The classically-inclined progressive Russian duo Iamthemorning expands its already broad palette with its third album, Lighthouse. Porcupine Tree members Colin Edwin and Gavin Harrison also contribute, as well as Mariusz Duda of Polish prog metal band Riverside and solo project Lunatic Soul. Opening with the sounds of water and Marjana Semkina's crystalline vocals, the album picks up steam with ambling piano-driven songs ("Too Many Years"), intricate instrumentals ("Harmony") and sweeping cinematic moments ("I Came Before The Water Pt. 2"). It's due out on April 1 on Kscope.
